Fitzpatrick should watch what he endorses in a public statement, because in a lawsuit anyone can be held liable.
I say, how dare he tout any medication new or old, as the end all be all way to lead a more fulfilling life.
Who the hell says? is he going to take these patients to their appointments? advocate personally when the newest med fails to give the quality of life back that he is promising they will get?
Is Fitzpatrick willing to be someone's friend, caregiver, or therapist? help them get an apartment? a job and help them keep it? drive them to CBT or DBT or yoga classes? or even drive them to a NAMI support group? listen to the woes of side effects? care?
I am sorry to see someone with such a public platform abuse it, at the expense of innocent patient/consumers.
