Comments: Owen Wilson Looks Like Crap
My first thought was Owen looks like he's on Seroquel, being that my eyes looked that drugged and puffy when I was on it.
Dare I say, I don't think I look that way any longer now that I'm off of it.

Owen DOES look awful. I'm a big fan and his plight is breaking my heart. Can antidepressants really do that to you and what's the time frame for having our old Owen back (with the proper treatment, that is, of course)?

He has a pretty flat affect too and almost seems to have trouble speaking -- sad. Looks just like James Frey after he got out of Hazelden. Only way you're going to get your old Owen back is if he gets off all that crazy stuff (and stays off the illegal stuff as well of course) -- a tall order with the advice he's getting. Gee, is Tom Cruise a friend of his? He could sure use a little of his ranting about now.

Stephany, Seroquel was my first thought also. There's a definite look those taking Seroquel have. I haven't seen a person taking Seroquel who didn't look drugged.

When I was in the hospital, I was talking to an acquaintance on the phone and he guessed, correctly, what meds I was on just from my speech pattern. Seroquel seems to put a gap in between your thoughts and your speech. For a yabberer such as myself, it's torture.

Perhaps he hasn't much rest. You all did hear about the fires in california. He lives in Malibu where the fire started, perhaps he had been stressed not knowing if he would lose his home or evacuated or moving around a lot. This interview was on thursday and the fires were intense on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
Secondly, I thought he looked pretty good. I don't see where he looks like crap.

I looked at him and thought I felt the same way. Tired and been through much. I also have looked at my face in the mirror that reflected psych meds and it was a different face and eyes; than when i lived in so cal [for 30 years], and one of my friends used a swimming pool of water [in the Malibu hills] to save the property[via hose pump]. Considering what Owen just went through on a personal level [suicide attempt], one must consider his mental wellness, and yes hope the best for him, as for all of us.

I think it could be klonopin. Seroquel is a good thought but wouldn't he take that at night only? I agree with Ann that I didn't think he looked terrible, however, his behavior was atypical and very sedate.

it seems to me that he is just too comfortable talking to wes, that he's not really in "interview" mode at all. this is probably how he talks all the time in his real life.
his hair is sorta messy, but he still looks damn fine to me.

re: Seroquel taken at night; that's the problem[that I experienced]was the train wreck fog that lasts at least 12 hours after taking it. I couldn't deal with not being able to think until noon, and the eyes and puffiness never went away.[So I stopped taking it.]
