I'm OK, Just Overwhelmed

Thanks for all the kind queries about my situation. I'm fine. I've simply been overwhelmed with work--volunteer basis, mind you--ever since co-authoring the marijuana law reform initiative for Washington State on January 11. My days have been 12 to 14 hours. That's what it takes to begin the necessary organizational work on such a campaign. I cannot even begin to describe how much heavy lifting is involved.

I expect to be back to a more normal volume of posts fairly soon. I appreciate everyone's understanding.

Your efforts to forward the progress of health resources are very appreciated by the community, just as your blog is.

As long as you are also finding time to do the heavy lifting of feline crunchies and what not for KC, you are forgiven, I think by your readers.

Take care of yourself, Philip. The website can wait. Good luck with all your projects.

Susan,
I almost brought a kitty home yesterday but Nell would not like it. He was left in the mental institution yard and he was afraid of everything. There are other cats there so he will soon be adopted by some of these I believe.
I didn't take him because if Nell didn't get along he would suffer another abandonment and it would be more traumatic.
I though about Holly all the time.

Philip,
I'm glad you are doing this campaign and I believe that you are the best person to make a difference even if the goal is not achieved this time.
Surely your work will make a difference in some peoples mind.
Yes. It's hard, a very hard task.
You love challenges! Dear Lord Philip! This blog and now this campaign?
Kidding.
:)
No. Not kidding. Both topics are hard, hard, hard...
...and hard.

Ana,

I would love another cat, but Holly was shall we say- bullied by other cats at her former home, and I have tried to bring in other cats to no avail. It can be done. I just for some reason seem to get the cats that get bullied by other cats, and dogs and want to remain the only cat. When Holly goes to the Rainbow Bridge (she will be 10 next month) I shall get two I think at the same time.

Maybe our webmaster here can write a piece about living with two cats-will there be another kitty in your future Philip, or will KC be an only kitty?

If I were to work 12-14 hour days without a break, I'd quicky crash. Your work on this blog is valuable so take care of yourself.

Susan,
Hard to accept the Rainbow Bridge.
Anyway,,, I think I will have another dog maybe in 3 years when Nell reaches 15 years-old.
She is fine and in perfect healthy.

Hi Philip!
How are you?

I think you should place a 'on hiatus' status on your blog until this all shakes, rattles and rolls with the legislation work....
