I watched the channel today and there are many "researches" presented during the day.
One of them were about taking orange juice to reduce ageing effects. A research demonstrated that a porcentage of people who took orange juice had less wrinkles than the those who didn't.
Harmless effect taking orange juice and very good.

The other was about preventing headaches for the future.
Yep! Headaches can be prevented at early age while the brain is developing. To stop a brain that will develop headaches it's necessary to take some pills. One of them, I could read as they showed the bottle, is propanalol.

Later they showed another research of a geneticist who claims that laziness is genetic and they will create a pill for those who had the misfortune of having it at their genes...

I will have to go now because they are talking about obesity and how America will fight this disease...

I'm imagining a child in the morning taking at least 5 pills in the breakfast.

They also said that Queen Elizabeth is fearing swine flu because it's possible that two of the employees have caught the flu. She will go on a trip and will take Tamiflu in her purse.

It's interesting to note that you can't see a Marlboro add on television and smoking is always a chosen and consentual act, but somehow ads for pharmaceuticals are boundless and the act of taking them ranges from chosen and consentual, to coerced and forced. Psych drugs, even if you assume all use is voluntary like smoking, are clearly not without risk.
