Spring Fundraiser, $800 Left

Another $60 came in yesterday from three contributors, bringing the total raised to 3083.95 from 69 contributors. That officially leaves $916.05 to go to reach the fundraiser's goal of $4,000 on or about the end of tomorrow. In reality, that total is likely closer to $800 remaining owing to the Bremner challenge to psychiatrists and other mental health providers as well as to the fact that I know a couple of checks are headed my way in the mail, which I won't see until the weekend.

Thanks to all of you who've contributed so far.

So, yes, there's about $800 left to raise and it'd be great if that could happen by the end of tomorrow. It should be a pretty simple matter for 20 or 30 contributors to erase that remainder in short order.

As usual, the PayPal button is on the right. Or if you prefer snail mail, send me an email and I'll send you my mailing address.

You're up early. Or late. It's 8:52 here in the Naked Village, over on the right coast.

Keep up the good work.

Dear Philip:

Congrats on almost reaching your goal in the fundraiser. I have noticed you have written a few times here in recent post, that because of how Seroquel has personally effected you; you have stayed away from unleashing your personals views about AstraZeneca and some of the internal documents they have unsealed to this point (let us all remember, the documents they want hidden most are still under seal by the court).

I'm not sure about other readers; but I personally would like to read an EDITORAL ARTICAL (posted as such: expressing personal views on what's happening with this case and AstraZeneca’s actions in regards to unethical and/or criminal practices).

Maybe along the lines of what you believe is happening with AstraZeneca image, and how they have spent 1/2 billion dollars to defend their cover up, tampered with clinical studies and data, illegal marketing to doctors, misrepresenting themselves to an already bought and paid for FDA, and this whole legal concept of placing their victims on trial, instead of admitting their wrong doing and deeds publicly which has ramifications well into the billions upon billions of dollars.
