Hold your horses, everyone. No one is going to stop BIG PHARMA from making big profits.

People will die for the company to achieve those profits.

Sans heavy FDA regulation (likilihood: nil) nothing in the fundamentals will change. A couple of greedy Docs. will get grabbed up on "you're too stupid to ignore" warrants, the people will think things have changed.

And Big Pharma can go on killing us, slowly, quickly, and every way in between.

Ever notice how the "remedy" is always for a symptom, not an entire disease? Ever wonder why?

Dear Shagata (post above).....most days, I about give up, having "sacrificed" my only son to Eli Lilly, but then along comes a new-age ray of hope, or Senator Grassley, or whatever, that keeps the ball in the air. One of the possible "links" to some justice is the Internet...now if we can just keep THAT from being taken over, maybe we'll see some serious prison time!!!!

This is great news, unfortunately I must agree with Shagata Ganai. Though I doubt if many will voluntarily to die for the profits, I truly believe that the profiteers would gladly throw whomever under the train.

What must be stopped is the drugging of children, not just one or two pseudo doctors.

tad, check out FL and TX restrictions being placed on Medicaid re drugging young children w/ atypicals. FL is doing it now; TX is working it through their legislature.

I left a link to this post on a couple of psych doc blogs who are pro-Biederman/Harvard and they wouldn't post it. Interesting, when the walls start crumbling down who is left standing holding the debris.

You what this means? that ALL of the meds that are in discussion--Risperdal, Seroquel especially--are BUNK. Bad studies based on lies, cheating, scandal and dirty money, so why does anyone believe these drugs should be approved by the FDA? and why did the FDA approve them?

I know there are lawsuits brewing now, all of the kids like my daughter on Risperdal while Biederman was studying it in 5 yr olds and telling J&J the study would come out in their advantage. Just my opinion.
