On The Road Again
Or, more accurately, in the sky again--which is to say that in a bit I am heading to the airport in Tucson and will be flying back to Seattle where it's about 40 degrees colder and much, much wetter. Comment approval will be non-existent from about 12.30 pm EST to about 6.30 pm EST, so please keep that in mind.
I hope to be back to normal for tomorrow although with that little election going on, who knows if anyone will be paying attention to anything other than election results.

Welcome back! Did you watch Saturday Night Live over the weekend? (quite surreal, featuring the real John McCain side by side with the bogus Sarah Palin, Tina Fey). Right after a particularly surreal McCain guest skit, they ran the new commercial for Abilify ("Did you know that two out of three people treated with an antidepressant still have depressive symptoms?"). As attractive patients strolled smiling through green meadows, the voiceover chirped along about neuroleptic malignant syndrome, high blood sugar, involuntary muscle movements, stroke, coma and death.
At least one observer seriously took it for an SNL parody ad:
