Fall Fundraiser--Day Three

Over the last 24 hours $300 more has come in, bringing the amounted raised so far to $570. The goal for the fundraiser is to raise $3,000 by Sept. 17.

Thanks to all of you for your contributions so far.

For those of you who'd like to support the work I do here, there's a PayPal button on the right. Or, if you prefer snail mail, send me an email and I'll shoot you my mailing address.

how is the fund drive going now?

And will Katie and KC re-appear at the end or the middle mark?

Seriously though, support Philip and his beautiful office assistants, she who helps move the mouse, and she who shreds the paper.

He has done so much for all of us and his articles and time he has spent on just Zyprexa alone has made this site valuable to all who enter it. We can all contribute a dollar or two , you don't miss a dollar or two really- he would make his quota.

I know I am on a fixed income, but even on a fixed income, I could contribute a dollar or two or five...it's all about finagling your finances.

I'll get off my soapbox now. Sorry for the interruption folks.

I just really love this site- I love reading Philip's pieces, I have learned so much in over 2 years. And the comments you all leave behind are wonderful. I don't agree with all of it, but it makes me think and I cannot help but wonder how great it is that everyone from all different backgrounds and mind sets come together and read. And discuss, debate and question.

When I cannot sleep at 3 or 4 am, I can come here and feel welcome and just read until that dark night of the soul passes.

And for that, I thank you Philip, and readers. Thank you.

I'm sure I've said this before, but the Zyprexa documents hosted here, as well as your excellent, historical collection of the "Zyprexa Chronicles" is one of the best reasons to fund and support this site.

No pharma-funding, or Google Adsense ads, this site is reader-funded and if you read it, then support it!

Again, thanks for the awesome work here Philip.

(**the pediatric bipolar disorder is also cutting-edge and one of the most important and note worthy group of articles this site houses)

Here's why I put a little something on what I call my subscription to Furious Seasons:
1) Good journalism takes time, energy and research skills. FS features good journalism.
2) Like susan, I've found this site thought provoking and supportive. I too come here to weather some of my storms.

I like you Sherry.

After what Susan and Sherry have said I have to say, I guess once again, that I think Philip's work is amazing.
I'm sure that when the right time comes..., I hope in the next 20 years, Furious Seasons will be recognized as one of the few good journalism in mental health of this time.

Unfortunately I only can pay cash.
I'm thinking about sending Philip a book or something with the money inside.
