Spring Fundraiser--Day 10

Thanks to another nine people who stepped up and contributed to the fundraiser yesterday, the total now stands at $1,716.26. I appreciate the response. The fundraiser now stands about $785 from its goal of $2,500 by the end of next Wednesday. It'd be really nice if that remainder were under $500 by the start of Monday, so please give what you can over the weekend, if you've not contributed already.

The PayPal button is on the right or shoot me an email for a mailing address if you prefer snail mail. And thanks for your support.

That's fantastic that 46 readers have stepped up to support this site, though I find it hard to believe there are less than 50 people reading this site on a regular basis to show their support by donating and keeping this valuable public service site up and running.

If 46 more readers contributed $20.00 dollars today, the fundraiser would be finished and would have surpassed it's goal.

That isn't hard to do! And that would still only be less than 100 readers who supported this site for the fundraiser, which is shocking because I am sure there are hundreds and thousands of you out there!

Step up to the plate and donate today!

I can't email you as your site does not come up on my email page when I click your email tag. If you would like me to send you a donation, please contact me at my email site above and I will reply.

Sincerely,

As a physician, I have been perusing your site off and on the past few weeks since fellow commenter Stephany pointed out the article on the overdiagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. I like what I read and think people should be considering what you have to offer. I hope you will stay responsible though, as demystifying and destigmatizing mental health issues is crucial but requires facts and experience to legitimize the opinion.

It is a shame, in my opinion, that there are not enough caring physicians out there who follow the lead of patients who have struggled with shoddy or absent care. I am one who has been leery and critical of the role of drugs sold as a cure-all to treatment, in any discipline for that matter. I hope you will keep up with my greatest concern these days, Seroquel. Astra-Zeneca is looking to get approval for use as a first line for depression and anxiety management.

BE SCARED WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY, FOLKS!

Good luck, good times, good day.
