1,500th Post

I'd just like to take this opportunity to let you all know that this is the 1,500th post on this site. That's kind of a landmark. To date, those 1,500 posts have gotten about 8,900 comments, or about 6 comments per post. Considering that not many people commented the first year or so that this site was in existence, that's purty good. Keep 'em coming. And thanks.

Just for fun, this site's first post on Sept. 25, 2005 was gloriously entitled "Testing 1...2...3." Yes, it was a test post.

Congrats Philip!

Congrats, dude :) You have NO idea how proud I am of what you've done. It's a great milestone, but think of the George Bailey effect here - that's 1,500 posts and apparently, 1,498 of them (excluding this one and the test post) could have changed someone's life. Think about how your posts on Cymbalta helped me with pain management and that was just a tangential benefit which wasn't really related to the main thrust of the site ... you and everyone else who has visited this site knows you're doing good work here.

Keep up the good fight :)

Congratulations!

I believe that Puckett's comment is one of the greatest reward.
Another one is the comment from the mother who decided not to give drug to her daughter.
You have to be very proud of yourself for I'm sure that your work have much more influence on people than you imagine.
It encourages people opening Blogs to tell their stories, makes some question their treatments, helps those who are withdrawing and those who suffers iatrogenic diseases because of incorrect prescriptions, gives reliable data on harms that costs lives...
You are part of the solution.
Thank you and congratulations Philip!

Congratulations Philip:

Just remember McDonalds has sold Billions of Big Macs; so this is probably not the right time to let your head swell too much, {laughing} since there are still door ways to get through.

I figure if I just live long enough, all the competition with eventually die out, and I will rule the blog world once and for all {smirk}.

Yours Truly
Stan

That is one hell of an accomplishment Philip. Within those 1500 posts, you've no doubt saved/helped countless lives.

Just take a look at the Lamictal withdrawal pages and see how it is continuing, based on your own life experience.

Don't ever doubt yourself. If it wasn't for your writings, I would be toast by now and so would my daughter.

Keep on truckin'.

many thanks,Stephany
