Britney Spears Out Of Hospital

The pop star apparently walked out of the psych unit at the UCLA Medical Center yesterday, where she'd been for much of the last week. Her parents told the AP that they were concerned for her life. Spears, for her part, got into a dark Mercedes and was driven around Los Angeles, hounded by idiotic photographers every step of the way.

I wish these fools would leave her alone before they cause an accident of some kind. Or drive Spears into an even worse psychological state. But then humaneness has never been an overriding concern of the entertainment press.

As for Spears, I wish her luck.

News reporters are the bottom on the entertainment industry. They prey are people's misfortunes to get ratings/paid. Ever notice the look of glee in some of their eyes when its not a soft news day?

Paparazzi are the lowest of lowest. When the financial rewards are great they don't care what they have to do or damages they cause to get paid. Some of its based on greed and the other is competitiveness to get that "shot" or "lead" first. Together its a bad mix. How low of a human being do you have to be to crash a funeral with hidden cameras interfering with people grieving for a paycheck?

There also needs to be made a clear distinction between news photog's/cameramen and the Paparazzi. They may get grouped by the public but there is a line both by ethics and professional behavior, that sets them apart.

Eventually some pretty & popular white girl(blond hair , blue eyes skinny and a cheerleader) will get killed by their actions/pursuits and only then will laws get passed to restrict their behavior and restrain them for the public's safety. Right now its who cares, they're stars they deserve and "want" this. They have no basic human right to privacy.

I think Princess Diana serves as a sad example of this type of situation.
