December 18, 2007Blame Google Fundraiser UpdateI've been mum about last week's fundraiser for a few days due to the press of outside work and a back keeping me off the computer. As of now, the fundraiser is at $675, which I appreciate. Most of you know that I am doing this because Google screwed me out of monies they owe me for my Adsense account. For those of you who don't know the saga, the back story is here. The fundraiser's goal is $1,200, so if any of you are in a position to give anything, I'd sure appreciate it. So would my cats. The PayPal button is on the right, or email me and I'll give you a snail mail address. Oddly enough, my initial post on how Lord Google jacked me somehow made its way to Google's corporate HQ last Thursday and I watched as about 60 people from Lord Google's army read my account of being toyed with by the company. Oh, you're not allowed to complain, Phil. Lord Google, the Worshipful Company, etc, get to do what they want, "memory hole" any fuck-ups and deny everything, or just go very, very quiet. If you get really rowdy, that's when the smearing and intimidation start. I've been watching: it's a pattern - there must be a manual that one can buy, somewhere. Let me know if you find a copy!
