Health Leader Award

I was flattered this morning to learn that I'd been given a Health Leader award for my work on this here site. The award is given out by the folks behind the Irritable Bowel Syndrome site as a means of giving their many readers recommended patient-centered sites to go read for other maladies. I like getting kudos from other patients, so thanks. I'll put the logo up on my site later. More on the awards here.

I think that's fantastic, congratuations, you award seem to be endless, which speaks for itself.

I have a medication withdrawal story re: IBS. I don't have IBS. But when I was rx Trazedone for sleep by a PCP, and abruptly stopped taking it, I was in such pain I was sent in for an emergency MRI of my stomach.

MRI came back normal. PCP says IBS.I went back on the trazodone and within 3 days pain was gone.

Withdrawals from an anti depressant was diagnosed as IBS. [and I don't have it].
