I think NAMI is. They refer to themselves as "grassroots" all the time and it drive me nuts.

I was able to track down how much it costs to be a corporate sponsor at the Obesity Society annual meeting -- fiddy blogged on the Obesity Society, and I'm glad I followed his lead. Many professional societies in healthcare are open to corporate sponsorship and have the strange idea that it does not compromise their independence. I suppose they might think that having a Ph.D. and/or M.D. makes them unable to be influenced by $$$, but I think otherwise. I am surprised the genernal public doesnt pay attention to marketing and packaging of old products, placed on the market with new names and in this case less dosage.

I've been in a grocery store pharmacy and saw several people without any weight to lose loading their grocery carts with alli. I hope they have fun with the leaky gut syndrome that will happen next. I find this a dangerous product for that reason: I saw basic anorexic women buying that stuff.
