You Want Cymbalta With That Burger?
From Chimp Chat comes one of the better posts on depression, food and the workaday life that I have seen in ages. Read it.
And, then, here's one of the stupidest from Medical News Today (kind of a press release machine for docs and Big Pharma):
"The beliefs that antidepressants will change your personality or not allow you to feel are myths. If you truly need antidepressants, they should make you feel better and not worse. If you feel any of these concerns, talk to your doctor. You may be on the wrong medication or dose.
Antidepressants are not habit forming (addictive). Often people cope with depression and other problems in less healthy ways such as using alcohol or illicit drugs. Taking depression medication is a healthier alternative with less negative consequences."
Try telling that to Traci Johnson's parents. Or to mine, for that matter.

WOW, that piece on Medical News Today to which you linked was written by a psychologist!?!?! That type of writing (hopefully) does not speak for the profession -- it basically reiterates most antidepressant myths that just about anyone who is familiar with the relevant research has disregarded years ago. Truly painful reading.
