Phil, I loved Prince! You are looking at someone who saw "Purple Rain" at least 20 times when it first came out with my then college roomate.

It was so nice to see both him and Billy Joel, musicians I grew up with playing and doing what they do best.

It made up for the terrible commericals. ;-)

And it was great to see the Colts win- I always go for the underdog!

Maybe in light of the theme of this blog we should remember that just over one year ago Coach Tony Dungy's son James committed suicide at the age of 18. He hung himself very abruptly and without warning when his girlfriend left the apartment for a ten minute walk. A roommate was sleeping in another room. Two months before he had tried to overdose on painkillers, taking 18 pills, but described it as "stupid". Tony has handled the tragedy with dignity and grace and I'm sure it accounts for the very mature way in which he coaches and speaks in public. He seems to have a sense of what's really important in life. I've often wondered if James was on meds but it's never been revealed. I hope that this victory brings some solace to someone who looks like a wonderful guy.
