Cops Bust Kid For Seroquel

Or more properly for giving Seroquel to a friend, whose speech became slurred and whose parents called the police, who then busted the friend. The charge? Corrupting another with drugs. This happened in West Virginia.

Some shit I simply cannot invent.

Why? Why Why Why?

While I should be responding to your fantastic breakdown of the latest STAR*D results, I have to comment on this. On an NIMH website I read (I'll find the link again someday) that "like Thorazine, there have been isolated reports of people abusing Seroquel by crushing it up and snorting it through the nasal passage."

SNORTING THORAZINE? SNORTING SEROQUEL? my god. what is this world coming to??

Oh some teens/college kids do that with Ritalin and or Adderall too, beides selling.
The prescription medications are quite often abused in many ways. Ive known teens to be expelled for selling their ADD meds, as well and yes, Ive heard of them snorting them as well.
Watch the Dexthromethorphan cough syrup also.It is used as a liquid fast track to a high similar to Ecstacy. No joke.

I think before you all assume what is going on you have to research it. Dexthromethorphan is in NO way used to achieve a high similary to ecstacy. www.erowid.org is your best place for ACCURATE information on anything considered a somewhat recreational drug.

Dex is in fact being abused. Not only did it make my daughter extremely manic, the doctor who saw her on it said he sees many teens doing this. This is not inaccurate information, it is reality like it or not. Delsym cough syrup is straight dex and easily purchased. The chemical formation of dexthromethophan is something to research along with Ecstacy.
